Online Community Calendar
The Chamber is pleased to offer Cashiers411.com a comprehensive online community calendar to promote area events to residents and visitors. The site is promoted heavily by the chamber online, in print, on regional partner websites and more to showcase public events in Cashiers and surrounding mountain communities.
Online Jobs Board - CashiersAreaJobs.com
The Chamber launched the community online job board in 2017 to continue to promote Cashiers and surrounding communities as prime workforce destinations. The website is supported by the Chamber's workforce development roundtable and board of directors. Chamber members are welcome to post job opportunities online any time of year for maximum exposure.
Cashiers Valley Flags
The Cashiers Valley Flag is produced by Nancy Turner and promoted by the Chamber's Retail Roundtable to raise the destination brand through coordinated visual statements. The colorful, double-sided 40 x 28 inch sewn polyester flag reads "Cashiers Valley 1833" and features sun, mountain, valley and stream. Look for the flag at Chamber Member businesses.
Cashiers Welcome Mats
The destination-enhancing Welcome Cashiers, NC doormat was launched and supported by the Chamber's Retail Roundtable. The durable 3 x 4 feet Rubber Scraper Mats feature the Chamber's Whiteside Mountain logo icon with "Welcome Cashiers NC" text graphic. Look for the mat when visiting Chamber Member Businesses.
Daffodil Streetscape Initiative
The Daffodil Streetscape initiative is an engagement initiative to offer wholesale daffodil bulbs to business and non-profit members as part of a bulk order thanks to Dargan Landscape Architects. Bulbs must be planted in the Fall for bloom early Spring.
Pictorial History Reprint
In 1994, the Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce published “Cashiers Area: Yesterday, Today & Forever” a beloved publication highlighting our cherished mountain region. The Chamber has since partnered with local experts, writers and photographers to announce plans for a reprint of the renowned publication with an eleven-page full color addition.
Village Ramble
The Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to support the Village Ramble Pathways System that connects pedestrians to local restaurants, businesses and other venues. The in-town pathway network is mapped in our Chamber’s annual Shopping & Dining Guide for easy navigation and we proudly support efforts to expand, maintain and continue growing the pathways each year in coordination with our Pedestrian Mobility & Safety Strategic Initiative.
